Hey kids, went to San Jose for the entire day, not as bad as our advisor made it out to be. For starters i didnt get robbed, and to my disappointment i didn’t get raped. But we finally found the administracion de relaciones extronjeros which is the ministry of foreign relations and then to banco de costa rica, you dont need a translation for that i hope.

the bus was easy, and cheap like 75 cents a trip damn i love this country, also the busses are cleaner then the ones in the us no bums and no… well the kind of people you find on busses in america

We made some deposits and we got a awesome meal for like 6 bucks and included soup, a huge meal, a drink, ice cream, and coffee. Try and get a meal like that in san diego impossible… now im sitting on skype and watching the democrat debate…

Woooh, so after a too sober to be on a red eye, red eye. I landed in San Jose, Costa Rica. We made some skype calls on the free internet at SJO!!! Then we went thorough customs and picked up our luggage. So my board bag is retardedly big and we took a van cab, nothing like spending 50 bucks for a 1 hr cab ride, not to shabby, esp since it was a 9 passenger and my board bag took up 7 seats, ill post some pics in a bit. So after arriving at the hotel we got our room, my bed is horrible, but its pretty cheap.

Then Rachel took a nap I wondered about, checked out the basilica and the shrine of the black Mary, Virgin Negro. Then I bought a coke and returned to the hotel at like 10am to find Rachel still sleeping, i was jealous. We then did some research and found where our school is, and tried to figure out cheaper accommodations for this weekend. We also looked into apartments for our stay, internet is a must, but not really an option it seems.

Then we got some lunch, plato de dia con refresco por 1300 calones, which is about 2.50 nice! then jumped the bus to school and met with 3 advisors and the president of the student union. Got some idea what classes ill be taking and more info on life in cartago. No night life, ahh lame! So then we returned to hotel and i slept for like 5 hours, I woke up and wrote this.

More to come, tomorrow a trip to San Jose, so much fun!
